New Site

The following site is now the OFFICIAL site for Payson Cross-Country and Track. All new info will be posted there. The blogspot site will no longer receive new info. The big advantage of this new site is that it is not blocked by the school's server and so can be viewed from school.

Outdoor Track is HERE!

We had a great time at the Simplot Games! We even saw a few meet records broken. (We almost saw a national record in the medley go down). All the Payson athletes that went had a great experience, competed well, and even got some Olympic autographs.

We are extremely excited that outdoor track is finally here. If you have not yet put your name on the team roster or picked up the essential paperwork then ou must see Rockwood ASAP! We will be beginning official practice on Monday (Feb 23) at 3:00. We are planning on meeting on the outdoor track unless it is under snow, even if it is cold. So dress warm.

We have a good number of recruits so far, but it is not enough. You must talk to your friends about joining our team. The more we have on the team, the more successful and the more fun it will be. Our goal is 100 athletes!

Because basketball is still going on, our track teammates who are on the boys and girls teams will not be starting with us on Monday. They will begin when their season ends. In the meantime, please go to their games and throw your full support behind their efforts on the basketball court. One of our coaches, Coach Stevens, is also still involved in basketball. He will be joining us when it is over.

Also, the results of our compatibility tests are in. We will be selling the results for $3.00 each during lunch this week. Please get your own, and get your friends excited about getting theirs. Remember, this is one of our track fundraisers. and we NEED the money for what we have planned this season.

We'll see you on Monday!
